    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fibre projects ensuring the company and clients expectations are achieved through proactive and planned delivery.

    Job description:

    This role will be an integral part of the operational delivery team and will work alongside the Planning, Delivery and SHEQ Managers to ensure the business is compliant within the scope of works.

    You will deliver all projects on time to programme ensuring the clients satisfaction and delivery objectives are consistently met through regular communication and feedback. Managing all financial aspects of the project to ensure the business is meeting its financial objectives. With support of our inhouse project co-ordinators ensuring delivery and the capturing of financial information is up to date and correct and complete customer handover packs are submitted as part of a successful project completion.

    Experience in delivering a wide variety of telecoms projects is essential on Openreach networks – FB26 (Survey, Civils avoidance, Spine, PON and Quailty Assurance)– Fibre Cities (Survey, Civils avoidance PON and Quailty Assurance)

    Key responsibilities:

    • Management of projects under their control ensuring resource, safety, costs, revenue and profit are managed to the expectation of the business.
    • Management of different projects ensuring the business is contractually compliant .
    • Contract management, working with our Commercial team to ensure compliance
    • Control of the Risk register and associated logs with escalations into senior management.
    • Delivery of project plan for each project managed
    • Management of Project Co-ordinators to ensure projects are being run to the business’s expectation.
    • Work closely with the operational teams, SHEQ and Head of Build, to ensure the projects are delivered to the SOW and client’s expectation.
    • Complete monthly applications for payment with clients and ensure justification of application is supported.
    • Ensure kick off meetings are managed and attended for all projects.
    • Weekly and monthly reporting internally and externally to the business and clients

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years Project Management experience within the Telecoms/Infrastructure industry
    • Financial planning and invoice management
    • Internal and external telecoms planning knowledge.
    • Good written and verbal English language
    • Project planning experience
    • Competent in MS Office
    • Solution focused.
    • Holds a valid driving licence


    • H&S accreditations preferred SMSTS – SSSTS
