Experienced groundworker team/ groundworkers required for full time work.

Ferns Surfacing are a civil engineering company based in Kent. Due to an ever growing order book we are looking to strengthen our site teams and also NRSWA teams for civil engineering works in the public highway.

The yard is based in Wrotham Kent and you will be required to work on our projects in London and the South East as we continue our expansion. Long term work is available at our various sites across the South East for the right teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Drainage on the highways and on site
  • Earthworks
  • Ducting
  • Kerbing
  • Reinstating
  • A Team will preferably consist of 2/3 workers with excavator, ride on roller and dumper tickets however individuals will be considered also.
  • Fit to work medical for plant operators would be beneficial, but not crucial.
  • High level of understanding and adherence to Health & Safety procedures is a must.

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification required

  • CPCS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
  • NRSWA
  • SSSTS
  • Driving Licence as necessary with the ability to tow 1.5 tonne machine on a trailer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £16.00-£25.00 per hour
