    Our Gas utility specialist Forefront Utilities are looking for a Hire Controller to join their team based in Romford.

    Job Overview

    You will be working within the Plant and Procurement Department involved in the on-going day to day operations within the division.

    This is a position that will suit a driven individual, with previous experience in Plant/Plant Hire/Heavy Plant & Machinery.

    This fast-paced role will require someone with excellent organisational skills and an ability to adapt to support the needs of the department.

    Duties

    • Internal control of company owned plant.
    • Hiring of Heavy Plant, Machinery and Gas Essential Equipment
    • Liaising with the Company Store Person
    • Plant paperwork i.e., defect sheets, filling, plant stock controls.
    • Administrating Weekly & Monthly Plant Audits via Team Leaders & Project Managers
    • Calibration of small plant
    • Assisting with the inputting of monthly plant invoices
    • General plant admin
    • Show excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Have excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills.
    • Can work efficiently to strict financial and contractual deadlines.
    • To have the ability to remain calm within a stressful environment.
    • To have the ability to maintain confidentiality and Data Protection requirements in line with the GDPR.
    • The ability to work well as part of a team assisting colleagues when required as well as being able to work on your own initiative.

    • To comply with the requirements of the Forefront Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.

    Other

    • To assist with a range of other duties and responsibilities as and when required.

    Experience:

    Plant hire: 2 years (required)

    Schedule: Full-time, Permanent

    Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm

    Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
