Ferns Group are a family run business with over 25 years’ experience as an established Utilities and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services.

We’re in search of a versatile Reinstatement Operative to join our team working on our contract in and around the surrounding areas of Chippenham.

You’ll tackle a range of tasks, from operating rollers and paving machines to hand laying surfacing and smaller repairs like patching and road maintenance.

We’re looking for an upbeat, proactive individual to work on contracts throughout Chippenham.

Requirements include:

  • Prior surfacing or patching experience is desirable
  • CSCS card is required.
  • NRSWA Card is desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Competitive day rates will be based on experience and skill level.
5 days a week minimum with potential for overtime and weekend works.
