Capabilities & Services

We deliver end-to-end solutions for telecommunication network providers that cover the entire scope of work including design, build, programme management and ongoing operational maintenance and support.

We manage the delivery of fibre-to-the-premises (Fibre Build and FTTP) rollouts in both urban and rural areas. Our team play a vital role in the installation of new underground and overhead copper and fibre networks as well as the repair and maintenance of existing telecoms networks including large complex manholes nationally.

We enable organisations to deploy, enhance, operate the communication networks that their businesses and operations rely on.

Surveys

Our ability to provide extensive ducted and overhead network checks throughout proposed build areas, facilitating effective and efficient post-survey planning works, ensuring that our survey output is of the highest standard.

Installation

We install the connections from Customer Service Point (CSP) to the network in both multi dwelling Units (MDU) and standard properties across the UK.

Rodding & Roping

We provide route proving and Test Roding and Roping of UG Ducts across multiple networks.

Poling

As part of both repair and maintenance and new fibre build projects Ferns install and remove telegraph poles, including the dressing of new poles and support stays.

Fibre Splicing

We have a wide range of experience working with Fibre Optic cabling, from installation, repair, splicing, and termination.

Testing

We employ all of the testing standards, processes, and tools used to test the components of both newly installed and deployed fiber optic networks, including all components and functions.
