    Job Summary

    Ferns are currently recruiting for a self-employed night time dumper driver to join our team working on infrastructure and highways projects across North Bristol and surrounding areas.

    The role will involve working on a variety of civil engineering and highway schemes including servicing civils teams with materials and muck away at night with a 9t dumper. Work will be based on site in North Bristol/South Gloucestershire.

    We are looking for reliable, experienced operatives who can demonstrate strong knowledge of groundwork and highways activities and who are able to work safely and effectively as part of a team.

    Immediate start available.

    Day to Day Tasks and Key Responsibilities

    • Operate the 9-tonne dumper from depots to various sites via road.
    • Carry out groundworks and associated site activities.
    • Maintain a safe working environment and follow site health and safety procedures.
    • Work collaboratively with supervisors, machine operators and other site teams.
    • Complete relevant site documentation where required.

    Requirements

    • Valid CSCS Card (minimum requirement)
    • Class 2 HGV Licence
    • Happy to work nights as this is a night time role
    • Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
