    Main purpose of the job:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor (Tier 1) to join our team.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity surveying duties for various civil engineering projects. This will include cost planning, measurement, valuation, contract administration, and final accounts.

    Key tasks and Deliverables:

    • Preparation of bills of quantities, tender documentation, and contract documents.
    • Measurement and valuation of works including cost analysis and cost planning.
    • Contract administration, including variations, claims, and negotiations.
    • Preparation of interim and final accounts.
    • Preparation and presentation of cost reports to senior management.
    • Evaluation of tender submissions and preparation of tender reports.
    • Preparation of budget estimates and cost plans.
    • Assistance with the preparation and submission of progress payment applications.
    • Maintaining records of site activities and materials.

    Requirements:

    ● A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field would be ideal.
    ● A minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil engineering quantity surveying.
    ● Excellent knowledge of civil engineering contracts.
    ● Strong analytical and numerical skills.
    ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    ● Strong organizational and time management skills.
    ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software.
