    Job Overview
    We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Yardman to play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in organisation.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised yard environment, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards and promoting a positive safety culture.
    • Managing waste/materials coming into the yard, including correct use and timely emptying of skips.
    • Loading and offloading drivers
    • Stock ordering for yard materials
    • Jet washing/cleaning plant and vans stored in the yard
    • Disposal of PE pipe into skips daily
    • Assisting storemen when needed.

    The right candidate must be able to cope with reasonable manual handling, working in all kinds of weather and being on their feet/walking for most of the day.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience as a yard operative is preferred
    • Telehandler/forklift licence is preferred
    • Driving licence is essential due to location
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other others.

    Monday to Friday; 6am – 4pm
