    Job Description:

    Ferns Group are a family run business with over 25 years’ experience as an established Utilities and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services.

    We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and reliable Plumber and General Maintenance operative to carry out works in both commercial and domestic environments across the Maidstone and the wider Kent area.

    This is a varied role including preventative maintenance and repairs for rental properties, so you will be required to turn your hand to a wide range of repairs. You will supply your own tools. A Company Van will be provided.

    Knowledge of central heating would be advantageous and the ability to assist qualified trades like electricians, plumbers and carpenters would be expected.

    We are willing to consider PAYE or Self-Employed.

    This is a full time position working 40 hours a week. Flexibility to attend out of hours emergency work would be advantageous.

    Qualifications

    • General Maintenance/plumbing: Ideally a minumum of 2 years experience
    • Valid UK Driving Licence (Required)
    • CSCS (Preferred)
    • City & Guilds Plumbing Qualification (Preferred)
