Job Purpose

The Civils Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Civil Teams, supervision of the telecoms infrastructure installation, ensuring targets and deadlines are being met, and work and services are in compliance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Civils Contract Manager
  • Attend sites to support civil teams, ensuring works are carried out to agreed safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure teams are adhering to health and safety provisions and are in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure required stores and materials are avaiable for the Civil Teams to complete work each day.
  • To carry out regular audits to monitor compliance.
  • To resolve any issues using your experience and knowledge, requesting support from the Civils Contract Manager when required.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience of supervising civil teams.
  • NRSWA Supervisor Qualification is essential
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package
  • Planning and programming experience
  • Read and interpret client network schematics
  • Fault management and resolution
  • Understanding cost and value
