We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Telecoms Poling Supervisor to join our team, working with our Tier 1 client BT Openreach.

Job Purpose

The Civils Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the Poling Teams, ensuring targets and deadlines are being met, and work and services are in compliance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Civils Contract Manager
  • Attend sites to support Poling teams, ensuring works are carried out to agreed safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure teams are adhering to health and safety provisions and are in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure required stores and materials are available for the Poling Teams to complete work each day.
  • To carry out regular audits to monitor compliance.
  • To resolve any issues using your experience and knowledge, requesting support from the Civils Contract Manager when required.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Must have Openreach Network Experience
  • NRSWA / Highways Experience – Supervisor NRSWA Card
  • CPCS or CSCS Qualification
  • Underground, Overhead PIA and Trenching Telecoms network installation experience
  • Understand New Roads & Streetworks Act 1991(NRSWA)
  • Clean Drivers Licence
  • Proven experience of supervising Poling teams.
